Oakville Santa Claus Parade 2022

After a two-year hiatus, the Santa Claus Parade returns to the Town of Oakville! The parade will take place on Saturday, November 19th, at 9 AM. Get ready for free family fun as creative floats make their way through Oakville’s streets.

This year’s theme will be Christmas Around the World to acknowledge family festivities from all cultures and countries. Join in on the creativity by dressing in your traditional holiday attire! The kids will have a blast seeing decorative floats, marching bands, and costumed characters that reflect their own holiday traditions.

Getting to Oakville Santa Claus Parade

Ensure you obtain a viewing spot early, as this will be Oakville’s first in-person Santa Claus Parade since 2019! Also, there will be several road closures from 7 AM to 11 AM. Click here to view the closures.

Highway exits and parking

As a result of the road closures, there will be limited parking available in Downtown Oakville. Instead, park at Oakville Go Station and catch a free Santa Shuttle. The shuttle will take you from Oakville Go to Trafalgar Park Community Centre.

Accidentally miss one? That’s okay! The free shuttle will run every 5-10 minutes from 8 AM to 11 AM.
