Pumpkin Pop-up Experience in Downtown Oakville.
Put on your Halloween costume and head to Downtown Oakville between October 29 and October 30, 10 am to 5:00 pm for Halloween Pumpkin Pop-up Experience. See the merchants display their pumpkin creations. Vote for your favourite pumpkin and win a $200 Downtown Oakville gift card. This is a fantastic way to make friends and connect with the local community.
While you are there, be sure to check out some of the local sales. The customer service associates, often the store owners, are always friendly and eager to help.
Tiny Tots Experience.
Bring your little ones to trick or treat Downtown Oakville on Monday, October 31, from 10 am to 12 pm. Meet and chat with other parents while strolling Oakville’s brand-new extra-wide sidewalks. Read more here.
Stop by one of Oakville’s bakeries for a Halloween-themed treat.
Visit one of Oakville’s bakeries and treat yourself to a delicious pastry.
The Sweetest Thing, located at 282 Kerr Street. Stop by and grab some Halloween-themed cookies, cupcakes, sammies, or even ice cream.
Black Forest Pastry Shop is also one of the visitors’ favourites in Downtown Oakville. Located at 184 Lakeshore Rd E, this place offers some creative cookie options. You can even order online and pick it up in-store.
Sugar Suite Cakes, located at 156 Lakeshore Rd E, is Visit Oakville’s Talk of the Town Best Bakery Award winner. The place offers gluten free and nut free ghost cakes, cake pops, monster donuts and even customizable Halloween cookies. Grab some skeleton cookie decorating kits from them and stay in for a cozy evening of fun.
Kids Halloween Pumpkin Paint Party @ Pottery N Paint Café.
Dress up in Halloween costumes and come to Pottery N Paint Café for an evening of fun on Sunday, October 30, 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm. Each attendee will have the option to paint a small pumpkin or another novelty item of their choice. The organizers prepared fun games and even a prize for the best costumes.
The parents may attend with their children or drop the kids off. Each ticket costs $10.
Enjoy Halloween Party at Bronte legion.
This year Bronte Legion is celebrating Halloween with a party that starts at 6 pm on October 29, and the children are welcome until 9 pm. The activities will include karaoke and dancing, psychic readings, games, best-dressed prize, food and treats. The live music for adults will start at 9 pm. The entry is FREE.
Participate in Oakville Pumpkin Parade at Erchless Estate
Don’t throw your pumpkin out after Halloween; bring it to Erchless Estate at Oakville Museum for another moment of glory on November 1 at Oakville Pumpkin Parade. Dropped off Jack-o’-lanterns will light up the path near the coach house while you settle in for storytime and treats.
Pumpkin drop-off will occur from 4 pm to 5:30 pm Storytime, treats, and the parade will take place between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. Don’t forget to wear your costume!
