Sixteen Mile Creek Loop at Lion’s Valley Park

Come and hike Sixteen Mile Creek Loop, a 6.1 km path that takes about 1.5 hours to complete. Located in the middle of Oakville, this urban escape leads visitors through a valley of mature trees. 

Follow the main trail for an easy, relaxed walk, or veer off on one for the more challenging side trails for a more active workout. Either way, you will enjoy the sights as the route lead to many lookouts where you can view the panoramas of the famous Sixteen Mile Creek.

Oakville Pumpkin Pop-Up Experience

On October 29, come and check out Oakville’s Pumpkin Pop-Up Experience. Participating merchants will display their carved pumpkin creations on the extra wide sidewalk.

Tiny Tots

On October 31, select stores downtown Oakville will participate in Tiny Tots trick-or-treating activities from 10 am to 12 pm. Bring your kids and enjoy the spirit of the Oakville community as they cruise from store to store on Lakeshore and side streets collecting treats. More details are here.

Hunt for treasures at Civitan Farmer’s Market

Civitan Farmer’s Market at Dorval crossing is where local farmers and artisans meet every Saturday from 8 am to 1.30 pm from May until November.
