The wait is over! After a two-year hiatus, Kerrfest and KerrFest Kids are back. This incredible experience starts on September 8th, 2022 and continues throughout the weekend at Westwood Park, Kerr Village. The festival’s last day will be dedicated exclusively to kids and families. Guests of all ages are guaranteed to have fun!

1. Famous KerrFest Music

If you love music and the thrill of a live concert, this event is for you. Come on down Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and enjoy tunes by amazing bands such as Chilliwack, The Trews, 54.40, and many more. Find the complete concert schedule here.

Chilliwack, a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee, had multiple top 40 singles and two platinum albums in the early 80s.

The Trews were nominated for and won multiple awards, such as East Coast Music Awards and Independent Music Awards in the US.

54.40 won multiple Juno Awards and were nominated for the West Coast Music Awards. Their song “I go blind,” written in 1986, was selected for the Canadian songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2021.

These are just a few of many accolades. The bands are talented, spirited and ready to perform! Do not miss your chance to see them live at Kerrfest.

2. Award Winning Oakville Foods and Desserts

Treat your taste buds to something delicious at Kerrfest. Enjoy carefully prepared delights served to you by some of the best restaurants in Kerr Village.

Visit Oakville has confirmed that the following restaurants will be on the menu: The Mermaid and the Oyster, Boffo’s Fine Dining, Zesty Pita, and Cobb’s bread. We will update the list as new restaurants are confirmed, so check back often for updates!

Hippie Pops, La Dolce Vita, and The Sweetest Thing will also set up booths to provide a delicious selection of desserts! Enjoy a great time with friends while savouring an award-winning ice cream at a rock concert!  

3. Ice-cold Alcoholic and Non-alcoholic Refreshments

Enjoy an ice-cold beverage while taking in the entertainment. Tickets will be available for purchase and bar stations will be located throughout the park. Don’t forget your ID. And please note, brining your own alcohol is not permitted.

The festival will also offer non-alcoholic beverages for a fee. Additionally, visitors can refill their water bottles at one of many free refill stations.

4. KerrFest Kids

Come with the whole family and stay for the KerrFest Kids on Sunday, September 11th. Festival organizers confirmed that besides the great food options mentioned above, activities will include face painting, arts and crafts, a photo booth, a reptile show, and character appearances!

Bob the Builder will teach the little ones about working together. Children will learn how to resolve conflict, work cooperatively, and socialize. The show will be based around the famous song, “Can we fix it?” Everyone will have a blast!

Other attractions will include:

  • Meet and greet with Paw Patrol Characters! 
  • Little Rays reptile show and more!

5. Explore Oakville

Coming from afar to enjoy the festival? Stop by our visitor center at Oakville Central library (120 Navy St) and pick up your copy of Oakville Visitor Guide or download the online version from here.

Spend some time, before the festival gates open, wondering Oakville’s waterfront.

Enjoy the breeze and picturesque views of the lake. Take in small-town charm while walking through historic neighborhoods. 

What Else do You Need to Know?

After two years, this event is much anticipated! The festival attracts thousands of people from all over the country. Here’s what you need to know to make the most of Kerrfest 2022:

You must register/purchase your tickets online here. There will be no box office on site. 

Admission is $10 per day for September 8, 9, and 10. Admission is FREE on September 11th, but all guests MUST register in advance. 

Kerrfest is a rain or shine event.

No refunds.

Some parking will be available, but Bond street will be closed during the event. Consider other modes of transportation such as Oakville Transit, Oakville Taxi, or Uber
