With the warm weather finally here, now is a great time to plan a summer getaway!

Known for its charm, array of retail and dining options, and gorgeous lake views, Oakville is a destination worth discovering. Keep reading to get ideas about how to spend your time in Oakville and build unforgettable memories.

1.      2022 Oakville Ribfest

This year’s Rotary Ribfest is once again back in Oakville. Taking place on the grounds of Sheridan Campus, it is a drive-through event. There will be no lineups under the scorching sun, no bumping into people, and no need to watch your kids in the crowd. Just drive through in the cool comfort of your own vehicle, pick up the award-winning juicy fall-off-the-bone ribs and feast with your friends or family.

If you are local, enjoy them on your patio. Get extra and invite your neighbours! If you are in Oakville for a few days, head down to the lake to have a prep-free picnic. Either way, bonding over great food is one of the best ways to build memories and relationships.

If you happen to miss Ribfest, consider other mouthwatering takeout options in Oakville and enjoy.
