Visit Oakville is currently seeking applications from qualified candidates to sit on its Board of Directors. Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the Governance and Nominating Committee, with final approval by the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting on June 23, 2021.

Eligible candidates must work or live in Oakville and have a passion for the town. Previous board experience is not mandatory but is an asset.

Terms are two or three years with an option to renew for an additional term. Director positions are voluntary.

Deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Candidate submissions are reviewed by the Governance and Nominating Committee. Phone/Zoom meetings may be scheduled.

Final election of Directors takes place at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 23, 2021. Candidates will be informed of their eligibility prior to the AGM.
