The holiday season is just around the corner and there are lots of Winter events happening in Oakville. Downtown Oakville has so many great activities happening this year that you don’t want to miss out on!

Tree Lighting Ceremony

This year the Tree Lighting Ceremony will be happening on November 20^th, 2015 at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Kick off the Christmas season this year and create magical memories in the Downtown Square. Come and enjoy incredible entertainment, caroling, Santa, lots of treats and of course the lighting of the beautiful tree.

Santa in the Square

Share your Christmas wish list and get your photo taken with Santa! Santa will be in the Towne Square on Saturday November 28^th, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There will be a beautiful Christmas tree, music, holiday treats and more for all ages! All photos with Santa are FREE!

Wagon Rides with Santa & Carolers in Downtown Oakville

Come enjoy wagon rides with Santa throughout the Downtown (pick up in Towne Square) and the melodic sounds of carolers. You can come finish your Christmas shopping, prepare yourself for the holidays, and pick up a treat for a Christmas party host! This event will be happening on Saturdays and Sundays starting on November 28^th until December 20^th, 2015, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

RBC Skate in the Square

Enjoy a free skate from November 28^th, 2015 until February 29^th, 2016. Free skating will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week in the Towne Square. Sharp skates are recommended and children must be supervised by a guardian at all times. Hockey is not permitted and helmets are highly recommended.
