Visit Oakville is a non-profit destination marketing organization led by a volunteer board of directors representing the local business and tourism community. Its mission is to drive economic impact for and from the local tourism industry. Visit Oakville works with partner organizations to make Oakville a better place to live, work and visit.

• Access to resources – including training and marketing templates

Reach Visitors

• Business listing on visitoakville.com (website and mobile)
• Distribution of collateral via visitor information kiosks and ambassadors
• Priority consideration for Visit Oakville marketing efforts, campaigns and packaging opportunities
• Opportunity to collaborate in Visit Oakville materials (e.g. visitor guide, brochure, blog posts, social media and more!)

There may be marketing and partnership opportunities offered for a fee, but these opportunities are optional.

Visit Oakville is an incorporated not for profit organization. Since 2019, Visit Oakville has been funded by a Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) that is collected by local accommodations and administered by the Municipality. Read more about the MAT here.

Visit Oakville has also received funding from various government programs such as Canada Summer Jobs, Experience Ontario, and Ontario Reconnect.

No. Non-partners can have a listing if they qualify as an eligible business. However, only partners can take advantage of additional promotional opportunities, professional development, industry events and other benefits offered by Visit Oakville.
