Burloak Canoe Club

Located in the heart of Downtown Oakville, the Burloak Canoe Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing on-water programs to all ages, and skill levels. Their canoe, kayak and dragon boat programs are a great way to get active in nature while exploring the beautiful 16 Mile Creek.

Drop-in Dragon Boat
Whether you are stepping into a dragon boat for the first time or you’re a seasoned competitor, these sessions are designed to ensure you have fun, get a great workout and learn something new every time. Each practice includes personalized feedback to help you develop and refine your technique.
These sessions are offered on weekday evenings from April to October.

Private Creek Tours
Come experience the unique landscape and plentiful wildlife of the 16-mile creek. Whether you have paddled many times before or this is your first time, the Burloak Canoe Club guide will take you at your own pace and help you improve your paddling technique. You will have the opportunity to see Oakville Harbour from the waterside, head upriver to the base of the rapids, or explore the smaller side-channels.
These sessions are offered 7 days a week from April to October.
