Get ready for a day of family-friendly fun! The Town of Oakville’s Family Day event returns at facilities across Town. The annual celebration invites the community to enjoy free recreation and culture activities for all ages and abilities.
The Town has partnered with the Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate, the Oakville Public Library, the Oakville Fire Department and community organizations including the Oakville Soccer Club, Oakville Galleries, Oakville Gymnastics Club, and the YMCA of Oakville to present a wide range of recreation and culture activities, demonstrations, and exhibitions for the community.
In addition to skating, swimming, sports, fitness, arts, and culture, other exciting activities include:
- Music Explorers at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre
- Robothink at River Oaks Community Centre
- K-pop activities at Trafalgar Park Community Centre
- Guided tours, exhibits, scavenger hunt, games, crafts and more at the Oakville Museum at Erchless Estate and Oakville Historical Society
- A family dance party, a magic show, a comic juggling show, arts and crafts and more, at OPL's Glen Abbey and Iroquois Ridge branches
