Spring inspires truly joyous music from composers, and the two Spring-themed pieces on this concert are no exception. You will instantly recognize the Strauss Waltz, and the Schumann is energetic and lyrical from beginning to end. Mozart's Piano Concerto #18, with supertalented Sunny Zhai, has a final movement that evokes a hunting party riding through the fields and forests. Happiness is bursting out everywhere!
