Sovereign House Art Show
Date: October 4-8, 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Location: Sovereign House, 7 West River Street, Oakville
We are Carol Sanders, Barbara Eadie, Adrienne Holbeche and Stefania Zanini We are four artists and educators who worked in the same high school studio at Oakville Trafalgar High School. You could say that we are two generations of OT Art teachers. We have become good friends and collaborators through this shared experience.
This is our third show together at Sovereign House.
The show, TBD, explores the nature of not understanding the full meaning of a work until it is complete, and often, the meaning is still not fully comprehensible, or will change with the viewer, the time, the location. The artist is driven to create and the art reveals itself as it is created.
This year Carol Sanders explores lit interiors of professional places, Barbara Eadie explores physical boundaries, Adrienne Holbeche explores water, and Stefania Zanini has once again made it all about her mother.
