Join us on 28 January, 2025, for a roundtable about our current exhibition, The Desert Turned to Glass. The conversation will feature artist Charles Stankievech, curator and writer Ala Roushan, and Oakville Galleries’ Executive Director, Seamus Kealy.
The roundtable will offer insights into the exhibition's themes and provide a closer look at the artist’s practice, including his approach to redefining ‘fieldwork’ at the intersection of geopolitics, deep ecologies, and sonic resonances. Along with his primary collaborator, Ala Roushan, the panel will also share details about the development and creation of the exhibition.
