Once home to the prominent Chisholm family for six generations, this elegant historic site offers a fascinating window into the lives that helped shape the town, alongside the diverse communities whose contributions continue to define Oakville’s identity.
This fall, the estate comes to life with a dazzling display of gowns and accessories from the 1920s and 1930s, selected from the Oakville Museum’s treasured costume collection. Featuring flowing silhouettes, intricate beadwork, and the quiet glamour of a bygone era, the costumes capture a moment in time when fashion was as transformative as the world around it.
