Location: Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, 2302 Bridge Rd, Oakville.
The Town of Oakville is proud to honour outstanding community champions who make a positive impact through volunteer efforts or acts of kindness. Nominees will be celebrated at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (2302 Bridge Road) on Thursday, June 6, 2024. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7 p.m., during which recipients will be announced, and then a reception with sweets and treats.
Tickets for the Community Spirit Awards are complimentary. Currently, 1 in 10 people in Halton live below the poverty line. In fact, Oakville has the highest poverty rate in Halton Region. If you’re in a position to give, we’re accepting donations to the United Way of Halton & Hamilton in place of ticket sales. Additionally, we will welcome tap ($10 donation) or cash donations at the celebration event. Your donation will go towards helping more than 30,000 Oakville residents and supporting over 265 programs.
