A Remembrance Day Parade will be held in Bronte on Sunday, November 5 starting at 10:30am. The service will depart from The Bronte Legion at 79 Jones St and proceed down Lakeshore Rd W to the Cenotaph located at General Chris Vokes Memorial Park.
The Bronte Cenotaph is a tribute to those who served in WWI, WWII and the Korean War. The monument stands in Chris Vokes Memorial Park, named after Major-General Christopher Vokes, who distinguished himself in World War II before moving to Oakville, where he died at 80.
