Annual Veteran’s Salmon Derby 2025
Location: Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park, 2340 Ontario St, Oakville
Time: Starting at 6:00 a.m.
Saturday, June 14 is the Annual Veteran’s Salmon Derby in Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park. Recognize the service of Canadian veterans while you enjoy a FREE outdoor adventure on Lake Ontario! Meet at 6am under the gazebo for a day of fishing with veterans, followed by an afternoon BBQ, fish weigh-in and awards ceremony. Register in advance.
The Annual Veterans Salmon Derby is dedicated to the emotional wellbeing and physical healing of serving and retired Canadian Military personnel and family members through a fun fishing event on Lake Ontario and related activities. This year we will be hosting numerous Covid 19 responders among our participants.
