Get ready for Acorn Fest in Downtown Oakville! They're bringing one of Canada’s largest giant acorns - yes, an 8 ft x 6 ft acorn - right to Downtown Oakville. It’s nuts! PLUS enjoy sidewalk art perfect for photos, live entertainment, family-friendly games, food/ drink, and so much more. Check out the details below.
Friday September 19th | 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
- Snap a photo with one of Canada’s largest acorns
- Live entertainment - 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - Live music by Supersonic Hearts Band
- Movie night – 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - Outdoor Movie Night showing Ferris Bueller’s Day Off
- Enjoy food from local Downtown Oakville businesses at picnic tables
Saturday September 20th | 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
- Line Dancing Class - 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. - line dance tutorial with Urban Cowboy
- Family fun- 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - interactive art activity and storytime with Oakville Library
