Date: April 20, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Location: Brook Valley Park, Kinoak Arena, 363 Warminster Drive Oakville.
Join The Independents on their 33rd annual Earth Day cleanup!
Last year's Earth Week Clean Up of nature sites in Oakville was a great success. There was a record 61 nature sites cleaned up by over 1,000 volunteers. The total weight of all garbage removed was over 18,400 pounds. With your support and participation, we are hoping to improve on our record breaking results from last year. We are very pleased to let you know that the date for our next clean up will be Saturday, April 20th from 9 to 11 am.
The Clean Up campaign promotes awareness and respect for biodiversity, local nature and our trails, parks and waterways. Help beautify our local natural environment, protect wildlife and encourage environmental activism in our community.
