NEWS RELEASE
OAKVILLE – Visit Oakville is excited to announce the return of its popular Talk of the Town Awards with a deliciously Canadian twist: Best Poutine! From September 15-21, the public is invited to cast their vote for their favourite poutine from an Oakville restaurant. Nothing says Canadian comfort food quite like crispy fries, rich gravy and cheese curds – and now’s the perfect time to support local restaurants and celebrate Canadian-made flavours.
Vote here.
The process is simple: type in the name of the local business you believe offers the best poutine. The business with the most votes wins.
Visit Oakville will announce the winner and the runners-up over social media the following week. Winners will be featured in Visit Oakville’s monthly newsletter and presented with a window decal so everyone knows whose poutine is the Talk of the Town. Participants can let everyone know who they voted for by using the #TOTT hashtag.
