COVE Bar and Restaurant is based on fresh and sustainable seafood and elevated bar food, making it more accessible for Bronte Harbour. Owner Michael Mercanti decided to open COVE just in time for Spring and Summer 2019. It has the nicest patio in all of Oakville.
Best Vegan Menu: Dar Nabati
Their mission is to make everyday staples using plant-based ingredients, whether it’s a croissant or a hearty salad. They source their food and products locally and ensure it’s organic whenever possible. They are very conscious as to where they get their ingredients, packaging, and how much waste they produce as a business.
Best Wings: The Original 6 Line Pub
The Original 6 Line Pub is a casual, friendly, neighbourhood sports-focused bar and grill. Featuring a large selection of both draught and bottled beer, spirits and a diverse menu highlighted by their famous chicken wings. Prices can’t be beaten and you never know who might be there, as many former and current pro athletes have been known to stop in. You’ll never miss a moment of sports action with a full sports package of television channels available on the many big screens. As an added bonus, they have two of the best pool tables in Oakville.
Best Craft Beer: Bru
BRU has one of the best selections of craft beer in the town. Supporting over 15 Ontario breweries and premium imports there is something for everyone on the six taps and thirty bottles. The 16 item menu of modern pub fare offers classics like gluten-free fish and chips, gourmet hamburgers and house smoked meat. Great for those new to craft and experienced palates alike, come on in for a BRU.
