A Conversation with Life

Location: Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, 130 Navy St, Oakville.
“A Conversation with Life'' is a fundraising concert with the aim of raising $10,000 for Crohn’s disease research. The concert features original works written by 16-year-old David Meng, alongside a variety of songs, dances, and instrumental pieces that will involve up to a hundred performers.
In August 2023, a student from our school, White Oaks, tragically passed away due to Crohn's disease. Originally, the goal was to organize a student-run concert as a fundraiser for Crohn's disease research. Since those first few weeks of hopeful thinking however, we've been lucky enough to see the scope of this fundraiser expand exponentially.
We’re now officially partnered with Crohn’s and Colitis Canada, who will be handling the venue with a direct line of donation. With the collaborative efforts of a dedicated team of people, we strive to make a real, tangible impact on the thousands of Crohn’s disease patients across Canada today.
