Join the Walk2Talk 5km walk on June 23 through Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park to fundraise and raise awareness for Distress Centre Halton.

Distress Centre Halton provides telephone and online support to people in the community to better cope with crisis, loneliness, and emotional stress. Having the support of a friendly person who cares about your feelings and what you’re going through can make all the difference!


Parking – available at Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park (2340 Ontario St, Oakville, ON).

9 a.m. – Registration Opens!

9:15 a.m. – Warm-up for the walk with Monica from YogafyMylife (join anytime between 9:15-9:45am)

9:45 a.m. – Welcome from Distress Centre Halton

10 a.m. – Walk begins! (5km)

11 a.m. – 3 p.m. – Event Continues!

  • Enjoy food from various local vendors and family zone activities including face painting, bounce house, and more!
  • Music will be provided by DJ Chris
  • Draw – COMING SOON
  • Join the conversation: #Walk2Talk
  • Daffy Dill the Clown will be twisting balloon animals! Children of all ages love Daffy’s unique and sometimes animated sculptures.
  • This is a family & pet friendly event.
