Grammy-nominated singer and author Measha Brueggergosman is coming to the Queen Elizabeth Community and Cultural Centre to speak about her new book, Something is Always on Fire.
As a Juno-winning and Grammy-nominated opera sensation, she has moved audiences with her music, singing in the great concert halls of North America, Asia and Europe, and performing for more than 3 billion viewers at the opening ceremonies of the 2010 Olympic Games. But she has also endured many personal hardships.
In her deeply honest and insightful memoir, Brueggergosman shares the ups and downs of her life and career, touching on subjects like marrying young, health issues and the psychological effects of living in the spotlight. Be inspired as she relates her story of hope, tragedy and everything in between.
In Conversation With… is a speaker series providing you with an opportunity to hear, ask questions and meet some of Canada’s top influencers and authors.
