This year’s Culture Days weekend will take place over the weekend of September 29, September 30, and October 1, 2017, in towns across Canada.
Enjoy free family-friendly entertainment, art workshops, dance, ceramics, live music and more. Discover the world of artists, creators, heritage experts, architects, curators, designers and other creative people in your community. There’s something for everyone!
This year, as well as Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre (QEPCCC), Culture Days is expanding to include the following outdoor locations:

Select workshops offered as part of the Town of Oakville’s Culture Days celebrations require pre-registration, and participants will need to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to secure their space. Check out the Fall/Winter program guide or online registration system for more information.
Participants who do not register ahead of time will be accepted in the workshop on the day of the event if space is available. Priority will be given to wait lists printed when registration closes, followed by a day-of-the-event sign-up sheet available at the studios starting at 9:30 a.m. Online registration and wait lists for courses will close on Thursday, Sept. 28 at midnight.

Share your photo of an Oakville Culture Days activity on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for a chance to win a $100 credit towards a QEPCCC culture program. Contest closes Monday, October 2, 2017.

To participate in the contest, you must have a Twitter account, Facebook account or Instagram account, and proceed as follows: take a photo or video participating in a culture activity or a Culture Days event, or share a Culture Days poster or ad as seen in town facilities and select publications on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the #CultureDaysOakville.
The contest begins on September 1 and end on Monday, October 2, 2017 at midnight, (the Contest Period). Your entry must be received within the Contest Period. All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be reviewed and one submission will be chosen as winners by random draw. There is no limit on entries per person.
On Monday, October 2, 2017 in Oakville, Ontario one winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the draw.
