The 18th Annual Community Spirit Awards

The Annual Oakville Community Spirit Awards will be celebrating its 18th awards season this June.  The Spirit Awards recognizes, honours and celebrates individuals, organizations, businesses and community groups who are contributing to the life and spirit of a neighborhood or community in Oakville. Awards are presented to dedicated Oakville residents who have volunteered their time to an Oakville organization.

Award winners will be those who have demonstrated ongoing leadership, dedication and involvement in the community.  Each award recipient will be given a one-of-a-kind artwork by 15-year-old Aiden Lee, an abstract artist, advocate and awareness magnet.

All award nominees must demonstrate:

  • Special or unique qualities that highlight how the person/organization is making a difference in the community
  • Leadership, dedication, innovation and creativity
  • Long-term benefits or impact to the community

Nominations are accepted for the following award categories:

  • Access award
  • Arts award
  • Group Volunteer award
  • Heritage award
  • Individual Volunteer award
  • Senior ward
  • Youth award

Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday June 6, 2019 at 7 pm at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre

Ticket cost: $15 Regular Seating
