Come to the Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre on Sept. 17 for the opening reception of A Fibre Art Feast. In this exhibition, the Connections Fibre Artists will celebrate Canada’s 150 years with work inspired by our country’s early settlers and pioneers. The Oakville Stitchery Guild, one of Canada’s first embroidery guilds, will pay tribute to Constance Howard M.B.E., who brought embroidery to Canada in 1972. Come help celebrate this vibrant and unique art form at the opening of A Fibre Art Feast Exhibition.
The exhibition runs from Sept. 15-Nov. 12, 2017
